The Dairy and Rangers Cottages

The Diary & Rangers Cottages located over looking the Parramatta river and is steeped in history being one of he oldest colonial sites in Australia. Major upgrades of the Dairy Precinct were completed in 2016 including the creation of a central exhibition space, new digital media systems and landscape works. Guided Tours of the Dairy & Rangers Cottages are run on the second Saturday of the month at 11 am by the Parramatta Trust. The tour costs $12 and tickets can be booked through the Parramatta park website.

Parramatta Park, is celebrating it’s 160 birthday this year!! It is  great place for celebrations, days out, picnics, family fun and activities. Over 2 million people visit the park each year exploring the historic buildings, events, festivals and picturesque wildlife and gardens. It is only a 10 minute walk from Holiday Inn Parramatta, which hold 181 accommodation rooms catering for families and groups of all sizes, our on site restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sydney Olympic Park, home to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games has lived on through the years and has become a thriving entertainment and business district in the west of Sydney.
